Experience needed in Legislature

The voters in Greene and Fayette counties better think long and hard about their state representative in the upcoming election. I can't say anything negative about Pam Snyder or Greg Hopkins, other than I'm somewhat sorry they are opposing Mr. DeWeese.
Just stop and think about the seniority loss our region has experienced in the past few months, on the last part of one week Barry Stout announced his retirement and the first of the following week John Murtha passes away. Now if you eliminate Rep. DeWeese, we will be the forgotten corner of Pennsylvania.
Just look at any newspaper story over the past several years. If it were not for grant money from any of our "Big Three," there would not have been a lot of projects able to be completed.
Then sit back and look at the overall picture; the big gripe is we don't see new jobs coming to our region. Just scan around the rest of the state or adjoining states, and pick out a tri-county area and see if they can brag about any significant job gains recently. We need to re-elect Bill DeWeese to keep a viable voice for Greene and Fayette counties in Harrisburg.
